“Connection is why we’re here. We are hardwired to connect with others, it’s what gives purpose & meaning to our lives, & without it there is suffering.”
— Brené Brown, Daring Greatly
About Tracy Mazloum
Growing up in Uvalde, Texas, Tracy Mazloum was always compelled to listen to people’s stories, fascinated with their personal narratives. This passion for listening led her to her first career as a journalist, where she began engaging in cross-cultural experiences and exchanges. A stint living in Mexico and frequent trips to visit family in Lebanon since then has deepened her understanding of the intersection between one’s personal narrative & cultural lived experience.
In 2018 Tracy graduated from UTSA achieving an MS in Clinical Mental Health. The practice she has established specializes in individual one-on-one therapy for both children ages 5 - 10 and for adults 18+.
In addition to her own practice, Tracy serves on the board of the Greater San Antonio Chapter for the Texas Association of Play Therapy.
